Analysis tools

Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, thus excluding the possibility of personal references. If the data collected about you is related to a person, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately.

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

If you click on the link, you will be forwarded directly to our respective social media site. Your data will only be transmitted to the respective social media service if you are logged into your respective user account. In this case, the respective social media platform may receive information about the content you have viewed on our website.

for Facebook and its website, Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA;

for Instagram and its website, Instagram, LLC, 1601 Willow Rd. Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA;

for YouTube and its website, YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, St. Bruno, CA 94066, USA;

Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA on our website. The Google Tag Manager allows marketers to manage website tags via an interface. A tag is a marking or labelling of a dataset. However, the Tag Manager itself, which deploys the tags, works without cookies and does not collect any personal data. The tags set up via the Google Tag Manager merely ensure the collection of data that is passed on to the target system. Because the data is only passed through, the system does not collect or store the data itself. The tag manager thus merely triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Corresponding explanations on these respective third-party providers can be found in this data protection declaration. However, the Google Tag Manager does not use this data. If you have set or otherwise made a deactivation of cookies, this will be observed for all tracking tags that were used with the Google Tag Manager, i.e. the tool does not change your cookie settings.

Google may ask your permission to share some product data (e.g. your account information) with other Google products to enable certain features, such as making it easier to add new conversion tracking tags for AdWords. Google's developers also review product usage information from time to time in order to further optimise the product. However, Google will not share this type of data with other Google products without your consent.

For more information, please see Google's usage policy and Google's privacy notice for this product.

Newsletter

(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.

(2) We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after your registration, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within [24 hours], your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses used and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) Only your e-mail address is required for sending the newsletter. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

(4) You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter email, by email to (info@davosa.com) or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the imprint.
We use the Klaviyo service of Klaviyo Inc, Boston, USA to send our newsletter. The data you provide when registering for the newsletter (e-mail address, name, IP address, date and time of registration) is transferred to a server of Klaviyo Inc. in the USA and stored there in accordance with the "U.S. Privacy Shield". Further information on data protection at Klaviyo can be found at: http://klaviyo.com/privacy/.

(5) We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files stored on our website. For the evaluations, we link the data mentioned in § 3 and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile in order to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In doing so, we record when you read our newsletters, which links you click on in them and deduce your personal interests from this.
Right of objection

You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each e-mail or by informing us via another contact channel e.g. by e-mail to info@davosa.com. The information will be stored for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we store the data purely statistically and anonymously. Moreover, such tracking is not possible if you have deactivated the display of images by default in your e-mail programme. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed to you in full and you may not be able to use all the functions. If you display the images manually, the above-mentioned tracking will take place.

We use Klaviyo for our newsletter distribution. By registering for our newsletter and sending us your information, you explicitly agree to the processing, the data protection agreement and also the use of this US service in accordance with §49 para. 1 a) DSGVO.

Use of social media plug-ins
On our website, we use so-called social plugins ("plugins") from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram").

We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to Instagram. The plug-in in the form of images is labelled "Follow us on Instagram". We open up the possibility for you to communicate directly with Instagram via the button. Only if you click on the marked box and thereby activate it, Instagram receives the information that you have accessed our website. In addition, the data mentioned under § 1 of this declaration is transmitted. By activating the plug-in, personal data is therefore transmitted from you to Instagram and stored there (in the case of US providers, in the USA).
We have neither influence on the collected data and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by Instagram.

When you interact with the plug-in, in particular by clicking on the plug-in image, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram's servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed there to your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as this will help you to avoid being assigned to your Instagram profile.

Instagram stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website in line with requirements. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the display of needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact Instagram to exercise this right.

For more information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Instagram, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Instagram's privacy policy: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/.
If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely block the loading of Instagram plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript" (http://noscript.net/).
The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

Remarketing/ Retargeting

(1) On our websites, we use "Custom Audiences" of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") for the purposes of retargeting or remarketing. This service uses so-called tracking or remarketing pixels. These are pixel image files that enable log file analysis. By using the pixels, the service provider can see when and how many users have called up the pixel, or whether and when an email was opened or a website visited.

(2) With the help of this service, users of the website can be shown interest-based advertisements ("Facebook ads") when visiting the social network Facebook or other websites also using the procedure. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertisements that are of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you. When you visit our website, a direct connection to Facebook's servers is established via the pixel. Facebook is thereby enabled to identify you by means of the browser ID, as this can be linked to your user account. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Facebook through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding web page of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will learn and store your IP address and other identifying features.

(3) Deactivation of the "Facebook Custom Audiences" function is available for logged-in users at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_möglich.

(4) The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. For more information on data processing by Facebook, please visit https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Right of objection
If you do not want to receive advertising generated by the respective targeting service, you can object to the use of retargeting technology on our websites by sending us a message to info@davosa.com.
